Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the record label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among her best-known songs. She gained some further recognition via a blog post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard in her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music more as a hobby than a profession. Thus, she began with her own music. Her influences include renowned writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love of Bjork's style. When her mother told her that the songs she wrote could be used to not be famous for her, however, but to encourage people to see the value of themselves and their impact to this world, she began performing them publicly. At age 6 She began playing the piano. At age nine, she, started writing songs. It was not until she turned 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. The singer claims she is a fan of composing music. According to her, she believes music can make any person feel better.
