Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most affluent. He appeared in Shottas a film that has become a legend opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani enlisted Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996. With Father Like Son and several singles, including Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia all of which added to his rising popularity in the new wave of reggae artists. Ky-Mani and Praswell who are members of the Fugees were joined in 1997 to record Avenue the cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley first appeared at the Cameo Theatre in Miami at Midem. The performance of Marley on stage at Cameo Theatre was broadcast live across 36 countries via Caribbean News Agency.
